Our Wedding

We met on Hinge—though we were technically outside each other's location range, fate (and a little app magic) brought us together. We started hanging out around Christmas and quickly realized we really liked each other. On the day Michigan won the national championship, Danny asked me to be his girlfriend—definitely the best day ever! A week before that though, I’d had a little career ending injury during a Florida training trip, and Danny was right there by my side. We then later on got our two pups, Remi and Buck, and on June 10th, 2025, we got engaged. Now we’re so excited to share this next chapter with you all!

For out-of-town guests:The best airport to fly into is Detroit Metropolitan (DTW). It has lots of access to ubers, shuttle transportation, and rental cars for those looking for that option. It is about a 30-45 minute drive to the venue and hotel locations.

Courtyard by Marriott Detroit Brighton

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hmpton Inn by Hiton in Brighton. The special wedding rates are $139 per night for a King standard room and $149 per night for a Queen standard room. Guests can enjoy convenient amenities and spacious rooms minutes away from our venue. The reservation cutoff date is June 23, 2026. After that date, any unreserved rooms will be released to regular hotel rates. Guests must cancel at least 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid a one-night room charge. Enjoy the comforts of a full hot breakfast, free wifi, and self- parking!

Hampton Inn Brighton

We also have reserved rooms at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Brighton! The special wedding rates are $139 per night for a King Studio Suite and $149 per night for a King One-Bedroom Suite, plus tax. Guests can enjoy spacious accommodations and convenient amenities just minutes from our venue. The reservation cutoff date is June 27, 2026 and after that date, any unreserved rooms will be released for the hotels regular rate at the time. Guest must cancel 7 days prior to arrival to avoid a one night room charge.
